A hack to keep your airline luggage extra secure

PistolVia Boing Boing, here's a fascinating idea: pack (and declare!) a starter pistol in your checked luggage whenever you fly. It is considered a weapon, and your bag, while it will be allowed through, must also be extra-securely locked, and will be tracked with extra vigilance throughout its voyage. In other words, packing a relatively harmless "weapon" gets you free additional security tracking, and makes it more likely your luggage will arrive on time and without pilferage. Neat hack.
