Pirilloponzi - from Jun 29, 2005

RE-POD from June 29, 2005: Now that I have changed the subscription feed at podcast.penmachine.com, I’ll be mixing in some older tracks with the new ones, so you can get some of the music you might have missed if you haven’t been a long-term subscriber.

It’s been more than a month since my last posting here, and it’s been almost a year since I first uploaded “Pirilloponzi” (4.2 MB MP3 file) at the Penmachine Podcast. In fact, it was the first song I posted as a podcast that you could subscribe to. It’s built on samples from the June 23, 2005 episode of the Chris Pirillo Show, where Chris and his fiancee Ponzi discuss how they fell in love. The rest of it are some loops and samples, plus a guitar line I played on my Stratocaster.

Since its release, I’ve gotten to know Chris and Ponzi quite a bit better, and as I write this am in the process of custom-making a new song for the 2006 edition of their Gnomedex conference, which both my wife and I will be attending this year, along with our friend KA.
