Baby boom #2

Permalinks to this entry: individual page or in monthly context. For more material from my journal, visit my home page or the archive.

When my oldest daughter was born in 1998, she was among a large cohort of children born to our (mostly my wife's) friends around that time. Now, seven years later, the boom is hitting people on my side (so to speak) in earnest:

  • Dave and Deanna had twins.
  • Five (!) of the 35 people at my office are either expecting babies in the next few months, or have had one since the summer.
  • Yo and Evie just sent me an email with an ultrasound, announcing their upcoming arrival (which they say is either "human" or from the "lizard master race").
  • My cousin is a bit of an outlier; her daughter was born in June 2004.

There are probably more I'm forgetting.
