Spooky black holes

Here is Bad Astronomy's list of ten things you don't know about black holes. I'd never heard of a low-density black hole, for instance.

I also didn't know about the "low density" bit, but my first thought was that it makes no sense to measure density of something with immeasurably small size. The size of the event horizon seems to be a totally unrelated, arbitrary thing to be using for a density measurement. It seems that someone else thought the same thing.

It was all interesting nevertheless.
