456 Berea Street's Developing With Web Standards is the best single online document I've seen about the topic—because it explains things clearly and links to a fine set of other resources around the Web. Thanks to Dave for pointing to it.
And, just for the heck of it:
- Grab the nearest book.
- Open the book to page 23.
- Find the fifth sentence.
- Post the text of the sentence on your blog.

This example is a bit naïve for several reasons.
Um, okay. My book is none of these, but I suspect it's the same as this guy's. Here is an even more interesting, similar idea, which I may try sometime.
