Bring back the sans serif typeface!

It will be fascinating to 'watch' you design this...
 

The sans serif and styles and CSS will be back. But if I waited to do that all at once, I'd never launch it. This way I have to look at the plain 1994-style ugliness until I do something about it.

I am so envious that you are a writer. Always wanted to try it myself, but wouldn't know where to start. I'd love to hear how you got into writing and what inspired you to do so.

Don't want to dwell on this, but:
Met you last Thursday at the Vanc. CC with your wife (Allison?). My name is Patti and I was with my friend, Sandra, who is getting chemo for ovarian and colon cancer.

I am so amazed by all of you there. You are so incredibly brave and I come away from those appointments in absolute awe at the courage, hope, acceptance and humour you all share. I just believe with all my heart that you are going to beat this Derek. You sound like an awesome husband and father and your family needs you as you need them.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family for a speedy recovery. You will look back on this as an obstacle that you faced, fought and conquered because I know in my heart that good things happen everyday, and you all so richly deserve it after the struggle you've had to endure each and every day living with cancer.

You are going to toast your sons at their weddings, and babysit your grandchildren and take your beautiful wife on a spectacular golden anniversary vacation. Just you wait and see.

All the best and hope to see you again. I would love to hear from you guys on how you're doing, and keep writing.

It's like a Stephen King story, and unfortunately as fictional.
 

I must say I like the white space, but I've never been a big fan of the PenMachine logo -- the big purple box and stuff in the middle...
 

The logo is actually an adapted Julia set, a type of fractal. But I have considered changing it too. Perhaps in time.
 

Oh, and if you look closely, you can see penmachines within penmachines within penmachines inside it.
